Study Medicine at Masaryk University
The six year medical degree is taught in English. The first two years of study focuses on subjects such as biochemistry, anatomy and physiology. The final two years of studies include rotations at local clinics including two faculty hospitals, Brno Faculty hospital and Saint Anne’s. The purpose built medical campus at the University Hospital Brno was designed for medical students to excel in their field. The final year of studies includes working in professional medical settings, including summer programms.
Brno is located in the south-east of the Czech Republic. After the capital, Prague, Brno is the second largest city in the country. The main sites in Brno include Špilberk Castle, the cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, the Villa Tugendhat and Brno Ossuary.
