Study Medicine at the University of Pavia
Medical studies are taught in English over six years. Named after William Harvey, a British doctor who is praised with new discoveries into the circulatory system, the degree is known as ‘the Harvey course.’ The university has stated the course is “not just to teach the medical profession, but also to build a solid scientific basis for continued training that will be vital for the reception and understanding of future medicine”. The degree encompases three years of pre-clinical training followed by three years of clinical training including working in local hospitals and internships.
