The university offers a six year medical degree taught exclusively in English. During the six years of study, students will pursue preclinical training including genetics, embryology, biochemistry and surgical semiology followed by clinical training in hospitals.

Content and structure of the program are based on the Italian-language master’s program, which is also offered at the University of Bari.
Bari is the capital of Italy’s southern Puglia region, located in the heel of Italy’s ‘boot.’ It’s the second largest town in Southern Italy and this area has the longest coastline in the whole of Italy. Unsurprisingly, seafood is a delicacy here and one of the top dishes is Patate, Riso e Cozze. There are some iconic churches to visit here and the bones of St Nicholas (aka Santa Claus) rest in its Basilica di San Nicola.
