The programme which is taught in English lasts for 5 years and 10 months. Areas of study include hygiene and ecology, propaedeutics of internal medicine, propaedeutics of pediatrics, general surgery radiology to name a few. The aim of the medical faculty is ‘to solve common and complex specialized tasks and practical problems in professional healthcare activities or during study’ and to produce highly trained, skilled doctors.
The International European University is located in Kiev which is the capital city of Ukraine. It is named after one of the founding people of the city, kyi alongside his siblings Shchek and Khoryv, and sister Lybid. In Cyrillic alphabet, Ки́їв. Dnipro River runs along the city. It is thought to have risen to prominence in the 5th century. In more recent history, the city experienced prosperity during the Russian Empire’s Industrial Revolution in the late 19th century. Kiev has 40 different museums and many sites of historic interest including Saint Sophia Cathedral., Saint Andrew’s Church, St Volodymyr’s Cathedral and The Golden Gates of Kyiv. The monastery of the caves alongside Saint Sophia cathedral has been given UNESCO status.
