Lublin is Poland’s ninth largest city and has a population of around 340,000 people. The city has recently been named ‘the safest city’ in Poland according to a survey conducted by Otodom. Placed at an intersection between Warsaw and Vilnius, Lublin has always had strong trade and travel routes. The city has been awarded the title of European Youth Capital 2023 which is given to cities with a ‘commitment to key values of inclusion, support, tolerance, unity and diversity.’ The city of Lublin is made up of 60,000 students (18% of the overall population) so it’s a popular choice for students and is well known for empowering its youthful demographic.
