As well as six clinical hospitals, the university has a ‘medical simulation centre’ where students gain hands-on experience within the medical field. The areas of study include internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, surgery and family medicine.

PUMS currently has around 1000 international students from over 50 countries. The degree follows three year preclinical training followed by three years of clinical practice before graduating with an M.D.
