Study Medicine at the medical university of Varna
The first two years include studying core scientific subjects and their relation to medicine. In the second year, studies are focused on biomedical studies. From the third year onwards, clinical and theoretical studies are combined. The modern clinical facilities of the university including their teaching hospitals allow medical students to learn in a realistic environment. In the final year, after successfully completing the relevant exams, graduates are awarded a Master’s degree along with the professional qualification “physician”- Doctor of Medicine. Since opening their doors, 10,000 students have graduated with a medical degree, including 1,500 international students.
Varna is a port city known as Bulgaria’s maritime capital. 6,000 years ago ‘the gold of varna’ was discovered which is a significant piece of ornate jewellery found alongside greek and ottoman artifacts. Nowadays, it’s a popular seaside resort with stretches of sandy beaches. The city is home to Bulgaria’s impressive Roman baths and Primorski Park and many museums including acehology, natural history and naval.
